Level 2 Award in Principles of COSHH
Health and Safety Training
We have designed this qualification to cater to those responsible for COSHH in the workplace.
This course will introduce candidates to the inherent risks in substances and make them aware of the controls available. Upon completion, candidates will be better equipped to use hazardous substances safely while at work.
Target Audience
Designed for those responsible for the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) at work, as well as employees who use hazardous substances in manufacturing, cleaning, healthcare, transport, utilities and offices.
Course Aims
This qualification will prepare employees to contribute to the safer use of hazardous substances in co-operation with their managers and supervisors.
Learning Objectives / Course Outline
By the end of the course candidates will be able to:
- Identify the hazards associated with those substances
- Identify the risks and controls available to deal with the substances
- Identify what to expect from a COSHH assessment

Multiple choice examination – 30 questions
Certification
Ofqual accredited. Candidates wil receive a certificate on successful completion of the course
